Description

The Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier is a unique, chemical-free device created to effectively combat unsightly cloudy or green aquarium water by eliminating the suspended bacteria and algae in the water column. The clarifier is maintenance free and helps to prevent the growth of harmful cyanobacteria that can destroy plants, but will not harm the beneficial bacteria the tank needs to thrive. To ensure proper purification, the design of the unit redirects water all around the bulb to maximize contact time and improve effectiveness. Ideal for freshwater, saltwater and even turtle tanks, the improved technology of CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light) bulbs are proven to run cooler and last up to 3 times as long with a 30,000 hour lifespan.

The sleek, multi-directional unit fits easily inside existing cabinetry without hassle and can be quickly connected to most canister filter hosing with an internal diameter of 5/8″ (16mm), specifically the Fluval 06 and 07 series. The In-Line Clarifier is incredibly energy efficient at nearly 80% less expensive to operate than competitive products and requires no additional parts to setup and install. An added 4-24 hour timer is included for staggered, intermittent use if desired.
