COVID-19 Update

Effective March 20, 2020, we have reduced our store hours to 10am to 6pm. For the safety of our staff if you have any signs of sickness please do not come into our store. To reduce risk, we are asking for no loitering while in our store and recommend keeping your children at home. Social distancing is being enforced throughout our store.

Big Al’s is taking actions to help protect the health and safety of our staff and customers and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In complying with the government’s declaration of a state of emergency, including the mandated prohibiting of gatherings of more than 50 people and social distancing, the following steps have been implemented:

  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces. This includes shelves, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, pin pads, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.

  • We are requiring our employees to adhere to strict hygiene practices.

  • We are requiring our employees who are not feeling well to stay home and take all necessary precautions.

  • We are also asking all customers to stay home if they are not feeling well.

  • We reserve the right to turn away any customer that appears to be sick with COVID-19 like symptoms.

  • We reserve the right to limit the number of customers in the store at any given time to comply with the 50 people gathering limit, this includes a limit of two people per family in the store.

  • We reserve the right to adjust store hours as circumstances change. Currently our hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday through Sunday.

  • Big Al’s Hamilton has cancelled all weekly Shark Feeding Frenzy’s until further notice. Rest assured the shark will still be properly taken care of during this time.

  • All in-store sale events will be postponed until further notice.
